Na Espanha as regi\u00f5es de Sevilla e Badajoz s\u00e3o muito importantes no plantio desta variedade. No Brasil sao poucos os produtores que plantaram esta importante veriedade.<\/p>\n<p>Trata-se de uma variedade de porte reduzido ou que facilita o plantio em marcos intensivos. Sua \u00e9poca de florada \u00e9 media. Em regi\u00f5es novas no plantio de oliveiras, precisa de polinizadoras. Madura precoz mente, presenta elevada resist\u00eancia ao desprendimento. Na Espanha \u00e9 colhida verde para fazer o processo sevillano e nos Estados Unidos \u00e9 colhida no &#8216;envero&#8221;(mudan\u00e7a de cor) para fazer o processo californiano ou de oxida\u00e7\u00e3o. Seu a teor de azeite \u00e9 m\u00e9dio mas, muito est\u00e1vel. A polpa separa-se do caro\u00e7o facilmente. Variedade <strong>muito suscept\u00edvel \u00e0 asfixia radicular e ao fr\u00edo<\/strong>. <strong>Tamb\u00e9m sens\u00edvel ao repilo, tuberculosis, e verticilosis.<\/strong> Produz azeite de alta qualidade.
